The idea of sprong having to show consistently in the nhl but players already in the lineup not having to show anything?

Crazy isn’t it? I don’t know why the Penguins love to shatter the confidence of young, highly-skilled forwards but they do. Jake Guentzel was the only exception to this, honestly. Undrafted college guys thrive here, and the same goes for late round picks. However, as soon as the Penguins get a highly-skilled, raw talent they just seem dead set on ruining them. Daniel Sprong is a bonafide NHL talent. He’s got the speed, the hands, the shot. Everything. He’s learned just about everything he can from every league that isn’t the NHL. He’s already better than anyone on the Penguins RW that isn’t named “Kessel”. It’s time for the Penguins to just let him play.
