Ever since Nick Bonino signed with Nashville, Tyler Bozak has been one of Pittsburgh’s favorite names to throw around as a potential 3C replacement. There really has never been much substance to it, but it absolutely does make sense. Bozak is an offensive-minded center who thrived with Phil Kessel. The Penguins wouldn’t have to gamble on acquiring a center who doesn’t find chemistry, since the comfortability with Kessel is already known. Toronto doesn’t seem eager to move Bozak and the Penguins don’t seem to be in a rush to make a deal, but there could be a swap of roster players that makes sense for both teams somewhere down the road.
